Ellie and Mac Off the Shoulder Romper

I love rompers! They are so comfortable, and it’s so easy to dress them up or down. This Ellie and Mac off the shoulder romper may be my favorite. With so many different sleeve and length options, the possibilities are endless!

The fabric

This is another one of my Wal-Mart finds. It’s really soft. I believe it is a jersey knit, and I paid $4-6 for 3 yards. Three yards was just enough to make the short sleeve version of this pattern.

The pattern

This pattern was so easy to make! The instructions were really clear and easy to follow. I cut an XL in the bodice and XXL in the bottoms. I did have a minor hiccup when joining the bodice to the bottoms, but that was because I neglected to turn the page and read the next step. My bad! Thank goodness for seam rippers. You can find the pattern here.

Final thoughts

I will definitely make this again. I’m already making plans for a capri length with ¾ sleeves. I may end up with a closet full of rompers, who knows?

Until next time!
